I began my academic journey with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications (BCA) from Kumaun University (SSJ Campus, Almora), followed by a Master's in Computer Applications (MCA) from Graphic Era Hill University, Bhimtal, and later completed an M.Tech from DIT University, Dehradun. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. from Sunrise University, Rajasthan. My career started in academia as an Assistant Professor at JB Institute of Technology (JBIT), Dehradun, where I taught a range of technology subjects and mentored aspiring technologists. Transitioning into the geospatial technology sector, I joined Avineon India Pvt. Ltd. as a GIS Developer, contributing to national geo-portal initiatives in Sri Lanka and Uttarakhand. I then advanced to a senior role at Tech Mahindra Pvt. Ltd., where I currently serve as a Senior GIS Consultant. In this capacity, I have led and implemented key GIS projects across various regions, including Singapore, Michigan (USA), Sri Lanka, and Uttarakhand (India), focusing on spatial data infrastructure, remote sensing applications, and web-based geoportals. My technical expertise spans designing integrated spatial databases, developing GIS dashboards, and deploying web and mobile mapping solutions using PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AngularJS, and ESRI technologies. Beyond development, I have conducted training workshops for district-level officers and senior administrative officials (IAS, IPS, IFS) at institutions like the Dr. R.S. Tolia Uttarakhand Academy of Administration and DIET Didihat. Passionate about geospatial innovation, I remain committed to leveraging GIS for governance, planning, and sustainable digital transformation.
