The objective of this program is to be able to start basic German conversation from an A0 level to an A1 level. In other words, from zero knowledge to basic knowledge. Focus is on reading, listening, and speaking modules with grammar focus then and there, depending on the learner's interest. Homework would be given after every class. The student should also be able to pronounce the words more easily to be able to participate in a conversation.

Topics covered:
1. Learning the alphabet and pronunciation
2. Learning numbers and audio exercises regarding telephone numbers.
3. Learning basic greetings
4. Introduction to pronouns and basic verbs
5. Learning Verb conjugations
6. Listening to an introduction and learning how to greet or introduce.
7. Learning some basic vocabulary regarding family, food, and travel.
Curriculum Details
Lesson 1:
- Learning the alphabet & knowing how to spell out your name
- Learning the numbers & knowing how to recognize a telephone number or a price
- Introducing yourself in German
Lesson 2:
- Basic Greetings and learning days of the week and months of the year, and seasons
Lesson 3:
- Learning colours.
- Introduction to pronouns and genders.
- Learning some nouns with reference to gender.
Lesson 4:
- Introduction to verbs in the present tense and conjugations.
Lesson 5:
- Learning sentence construction.
- Introducing modal verbs.
Lesson 6:
- Introduction to prepositions & imperatives
Lesson 7:
- Parts of the body and can identify how to tell the time
Lesson 8:
- Introduction to some fruits and vegetables, and some food items
Lesson 9:
- Learning to read a text and understanding an audio.
- Exercises based on the text and audio heard
Lesson 10:
- Speaking practice on introduction, the daily routine, and any hobby he or she is interested in.
