The learning goal is to grasp the concept of nutrition and its importance, recognize the six major nutrients, identify symptoms of nutrient deficiencies, apply effective meal planning strategies, implement tips for maintaining a healthy diet, and discern between healthy and unhealthy food options for optimal well-being.

Homework assignments aligned with the weekly topics will be given to reinforce learning. Expect to dedicate 1 to 2 hours per week outside of class to complete these tasks.

Apart from the PeerCamp classroom, this course utilizes YouTube as a supplementary learning platform.

This course will make use of healthy eating guidelines and will accommodate learners with varying dietary needs. While these guidelines serve as helpful references, they may not always be suitable for individuals with specific food intolerances or those adhering to different dietary protocols. Please inform us if your learner follows a specific dietary protocol. Additionally, students will be instructed in reading food labels according to the standards outlined by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).
