The learning goal of this summer program is to empower tween to navigate social and emotional complexities. Students will learn to manage strong emotions and form friendships within a respectful and supportive environment. Through interactive activities and role-playing, they will develop self-awareness, enhance decision-making skills, and strengthen communication abilities, providing essential tools for thriving in middle school and beyond.

Students will practice their new skills and share success stories at the start of each class. After each session, they are encouraged to observe their skills in action. The only written assignment is creating a SMART goal.

Handouts will be emailed to families either before class starts or as a reminder afterward.

This class also utilizes Canva alongside the PeerCamp classroom.
