The learning goal is for students to achieve mastery in recognizing the sounds of letters (phonemic awareness) to bolster their reading confidence. They will adeptly segment and blend sounds to become fluent readers, while also improving lowercase handwriting for effective communication.

Complete word lists before or after class using the provided guided writing PDF every Monday. Choose between digital or traditional methods (iPad with a stylus or printed PDFs with marker, pen, or pencil). Enrolled learners receive a brief video on achieving a comfortable pencil grip. Dedicate 0-1 hours weekly outside of class for these tasks. 📚
