My goal is to nurture diverse drumming abilities, encompassing various genres, fluent notation reading, intricate rhythms, and advanced techniques. Each lesson is customized to suit individual learners, ensuring unique paths to mastery. Encouraging ensemble work, performance readiness, and instilling enduring enthusiasm for drumming and musical expression are paramount.

Students are encouraged to practice the lesson content regularly. Each week, they'll receive specific songs or PDF lessons to focus on. The amount of time dedicated to practice is individualized, discussed with both students and parents. Given varying goals and schedules, there's no one-size-fits-all approach.

Students will need drumsticks and either an electronic drum kit with a speaker or an acoustic drum set (including snare, bass drum, and hi-hat cymbals) to begin. Good headphones are strongly recommended for optimal lesson experience. For any equipment or tech inquiries, feel free to reach out to me.

Parents, please note that drums can be loud! If your child is using an acoustic drum set (not an electronic one), ensure they wear ear protection during practice. We recommend using good-quality headphones to facilitate smooth lesson delivery.
