1.Who can teach and sell gigs on PeerCamp?
Educators and organizations across the globe, spanning solo professionals, startups, and passionate subject matter enthusiasts, are invited to host classes, events, and courses tailored for K12 children. There are no fees associated with registering or publishing of your gigs.
2.What are the gig creation categories ?
Be creative. You have the opportunity to market courses and classes, whether online or offline, targeting any age range from kindergarten to grade 12. Create gigs covering many topics across categories such as academics, hobbies, soft skills, and tech skills.

3.What are the type of gigs that can be created?
On PeerCamp, you can create/conduct:
Live classes - onboard students with specified time slots and batches. Take 1-1 or, group online interactive classes with assessments
Offline classes - take student bookings on your available seats for offline classes at your location. You can create a gig for 1-1 or, a group teaching option.
Courses - upload pre-recorded textual/audio-visual courses for students to purchase and access.
Shoutout - broadcast announcements on your company/service, new launches, events and information for parents and target market.
4.What type of classes can I conduct?
You have the option to create separate gigs for both online and offline classes, catering to both individual (1-1) and group settings
For 1-1 classes - students can pick their time slots provided by the teacher which is pre-fixed.
For group classes - teachers can intake students across various batches, each batch starting at a fixed schedule. All the batches are displayed for students to choose from which they want to enroll in.
Payment options - For group classes, recurring payment is allowed. Also, the payment can be charged by teachers on varied frequencies like - upfront, per class, per week, per month.
5.Can I make the gig available for free and provide discounts?
Certainly! You have the option to generate a complimentary access link to provide your gigs for free. When new members click on your free access link, they will be prompted to create a PeerCamp account. However, they won't be required to input any credit card details to view your class. Existing members
will be prompted to sign in.
Also, you can set a few of the chapters of a paid course for free to access as a trial demo.
For discounts, you can display the original price of the gig and the discounted price on PeerCamp for the buyers to get clarity on the benefits of purchasing your gig from this platform.
6. How PeerCamp referral works?
When you become a teacher/educator on PeerCamp you’re also automatically granted a general unique referral link, which gives you the benefit of being able to market all of your gigs at once.
Wherever you promote classes or your PeerCamp channel — on social media, via email, on your blog, or elsewhere — you’ll earn 100% of the transaction amount every time someone purchases a gig created by you on the platform through your referral link.
7.How can I earn money?
Earnings from your teaching - “online & offline class” gigs
- For transactions with members (non-referrals) booking your classes, there is a 20% commission for every transaction. If you are marked as a “pro-rated” educator, the commission is reduced to 15%.
Earnings from courses uploaded
- For transactions with members (non-referrals) purchasing your course gigs, there is a 30% commission on every transaction. If you are marked as a “pro-rated” educator, the commission is reduced to 25%.
Earnings from referrals
- For transactions with members joined through your referral link, the platform does not charge any commission for. You get 100% of the gig’s (classes/courses) transaction amount i.e., even no platform/service fee to be incurred.
Is there any earnings and other benefits upon early-access registration?

8.When and how do I receive payments through PeerCamp?
PeerCamp issues educators payments in INR through Stripe/or anything similar, a worldwide payment platform that handles multiple payment platforms.
Payment Options
The payment options that PeerCamp offers teachers/educators through:
- PayPal
- Direct deposit / ACH / Echeck
- Wire transfer
When you set up to receive payments from us you will be presented with the options available to you based on your country of residence — not all payment options are available in all countries.
Processing Time
We send teacher/educator payments on the 16th of each month. For example, you would receive payments for the transactions on your gigs made from July 1st to July 31st on August 16th. If the 16th of the month falls on a weekend or holiday, PeerCamp will send your monthly payment on the closest preceding
business day.
The time it takes for the funds to arrive in your account depends on the payout method you have selected and where the funds are being sent. Below are estimates of when you can expect to receive a payment once it is paid out by PeerCamp:
- PayPal: Within 1 business day
- ACH (domestic bank transfer): Up to 3 business days
- E-Check (international bank transfer): Between 3 and 7 business days
- Domestic wire transfer: Up to 1 business day
- International wire transfer: Between 1 and 2 business days
Fees
There is a platform/service fee of 3% of the withdrawal amount. PeerCamp do not cover any transaction fee incurred during payment withdrawal by the educators. Additionally, if your payment option requires you to convert your payment in INR to another currency, (i.e., transferring to a non-Indian bank account) you may incur foreign exchange (FX) fees.
Taxes
PeerCamp is required to maintain up-to-date tax information about its teachers on behalf of the Indian Internal Revenue Service (IRS). We collect this information when you set up your payment account.

Option a) Organic process
There is no formal application process for this program. Rather, we regularly review new classes and gigs throughout the year from teachers/educators who already have published their gigs. We use any of the following criteria to evaluate a teacher’s readiness for either program:
- Through reviews
Gigs rank highly in reviews and ratings, positive student feedback to PeerCamp on different parameters, and total numbe of students associated.
- Through revenue
Transaction worth 20000 INR or, more for two consecutive months through PeerCamp.
or,
50000 INR worth of gigs sell through the platform in any time span
- High-Quality and In-Demand Content
Consistently created niche and demanding exemplary content of the gigs for students that aligns with all quality, ages, classes, and community guidelines.
- Teacher/Seller Brand and Profile
The profile is a cohesive and consistent representation of the solopreneurs, instructors, and, corporate brand which is well maintained with key sections and features like documentaries, video intro, achievement details, etc.
- Engagement on platform
Publish at least one new gig every one to three months. Connect with students by answering questions, sharing announcements, and providing thoughtful feedback on projects.
