- The students will become familiar with what a fashion designer does, learning how to design clothing for a fashion line and patterns for fabrics.
Curriculum Overview
In this 4-week class, the students will get into the basics of fashion design, basic drawing
Lesson - 1: Drawing a human figure, basic, croquis
- The students need to know how to design the clothes for the human figures and learn the standard proportions
Lesson - 2: Adding clothes to human figures
- Learn how to design the simple clothes and attach them to human mannequins
Lesson - 3: Creating a pattern for fabrics
- Learning how to create decorative elements and combine them into patterns
Lesson - 4: Designing a sporty, stylish outfit
- Using the knowledge from previous lessons to create a unique sports outfit
