Lesson 7:  Polynomials

• Understanding polynomials, their operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), and factoring.

Lesson 8:   Rational Expressions

Working with rational expressions, including simplifying, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing them.

Lesson 9: Quadratic Equations

• Solving quadratic equations using factoring, the quadratic formula, and completing the square.

Students would learn how to add, divide, subtract , and multiply .

Lesson 2: Addition

• Identify subtraction symbols (−, =).
• Solve simple subtraction problems with single-digit numbers.

Lesson 4: Subtraction (2)

• Work on real-world problems (e.g., spending money, comparing amounts).
• Introduce mental math tricks for faster subtraction.

Lesson 5: Multiplication (1)

• Introduce multiplication tables (starting with 2s, 5s, and 10s).

This is a 1x a week, 50-minute, 1:1 math tutoring class. Assessment during the first session to determine topics for improvement. I have experience helping students improve their understanding of fractions, decimals, multiplication, division, angles, proportions, probability, algebra and geometry problems for USA 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade levels.
